The class sang some Halloween songs and had a costume parade.

This little girl tried to kiss him during the photo session.  Luckily he pulled away in time.  Come on kid he's only 4!

I asked the family to stop so I could get a photo, they broke into their super hero poses.

Bella turns 7!

Today we had a quiet celebration at home.  Saturday Bella and a few of her school friends will enjoy a few hours at a tea house where they dress up in princess clothes, get their hair and make up done before they have a fashion show.  One girly afternoon!

To celebrate Bella's birthday we made a non-processed dessert to keep up with out 31 day plan.  I wanted to make ice cream sandwiches but the cookies weren't holding up so we changed it to ice cream crumble.  It tasted good.

Luciano's Art Class: The Mars Rover

Luciano decided he wanted to change his extra classes.  No more theater and gymnastics, now he is taking art and swimming.  The class is structured so the whole class works on the same project and they provide step by step instructions.  It is nice, there are 7 kids and two teachers so he gets special attention on holding brushes and strokes.  This week's project, The Mars Rover.

Day 1: Oatmeal Success

I got up at 6AM to make the family Baked Apple Oatmeal.  For those that know me, know is it not a normal happening.  The oatmeal came out good but it took too long so we ended up with straight plain oatmeal.  Tomorrow we will eat my fancy version.
