Gingerbread Shack

Bella and I decided to make a gingerbread house a little late this year and we missed out on getting a pre-made house. So we made one from scratch--we deemed it the gingerbread shack.

The Best Present Ever

Bella thought Daddy needed a shower curtain costume for Christmas. How could I argue. And thanks to Uncle Greg for being our model so we could get the length just right.

twas the night before christmas

Grammy read Luciano, "The Night Before Christmas", via a recorded book.

Bella puts out cookies, milk and carrots. She also wrote a note, "Dear Santa, Bella wants a Mickey Mouse DVD. Thank you Santa for letting us know we have nothing to dread. Thank you Santa. Love Bella and Luciano."

I am glad we have nothing to "dread".

Festival of Lights

Tonight we went to the festival of lights. Bella was so excited to see them and provide direction to Daddy for next year's Giammalvo house display. We are talking about adding a Christmas tree to the roof. By the time we got there, the kids had both fallen asleep.

Bella Pizza & Monday Fun

The kids and I made handmade pizza tonight. It did not go over well. We decided next time the crust should be thinner, less sauce and more cheese. The pizza stone was great though. Hey Grammy, no burnt crusts. You should get one.

I let Bella open a gift today. Books from Grammy.

And the snuggle bugs watch a movie. (It's a holiday week).

A Regular Sunday

Dad stayed home to paint the bedroom while Mom, Bella and Luciano went to Disneyland. We watched a riverboat show, met Minnie (L's new fav), ate cotton candy watched the Christmas parade. Poor Dad, missed the fun this time around.

I think it might be time for L to loose the binky. Time to start reading about the binky fairy.

Movie and Lunch with Mom

Today's the girls went out for lunch and a movie. It was Bella's first in a theatre. She LOVED "The Princess and the Frog" and wants to go again next Saturday.

Visit with Santa

Yes, Luciano slept through his meeting with Santa and Bella didn't want to get close to him.  The only reason she is sitting there is because she remembered that Santa had candy and she wanted some.

Haircuts

This is Luciano's first haircut.  He did not enjoy it but I put on Nemo to distract him.

Bella is used to bad haircuts.  I keep telling her if we went to a professional it would be better but she won't listen.  I can't believe it has been almost a year since the last one.

Lights

Thanks Dad for putting up the lights.  We now fit into the neighborhood.  Although Bella prefers the neighbors because they have icicle lights.  Oh Daddy, you just can't get a break.
