Earlier this summer Bella requested a flower garden. We started with a large planter with zinnia, sunflowers and cosmos. It took three tries at growing flowers from seeds because the rabbits kept getting in it. Finally we put up wire and it grew. BTW - We picked all cutting flowers because she likes to make arrangements but she refuses to cut her flowers because they are too pretty.
Then Bella requested a space all to herself with a fence. We obliged and gave her a small budget to design with. Since she already had the planter, we decided to extend that as her space.
Her requirements:
- A fence that only she could enter
- A gate with an arch on the top that a parrot would hang from (due to budget the arch and parrot were deferred)
- Only flowers would be planted
- A pink flamingo (due to budget this was deferred)
- The fence would be painted pink and blue (due to budget this was deferred)
