New bikes!

Thanks, Santa for the new bikes.  We were up and at the park before any other family today.  And the best part, Bella can ride her bike as fast as I can run so now, I may have a buddy to join me.

Why didn't you eat the whole carrot?

Perhaps you did not realize that Dad made a special trip to the Farmer's Market to get you a local organically grown carrot, Rudolph.  Eat the whole thing next time.

Luciano fell asleep at dinner so we headed out but saw a glimpse of the fireworks from the parking lot.

This was the happyist I ever looked at mile 26

This was my fourth marathon and my best (not from a time perspective but an overall feeling and pain threshold).  I had great company during the first half and a quiet peacefulness in the second half.  I thought a lot about how Grandpa enriched mine and my kids lives.  We miss you every day.

Back to the stats: There were 814 registered full marathoners and only 765 finishers.  I finished 48 out of 58 in my age group.  Not good but not last, so I feel like I need to challenge myself more so... I signed up for the LA marathon in March...
