Does Tacky Mean Beautiful?

Yesturday was craft day at our house. Bella made an easter house, Luciano directed Chris on painting a Dinosaur and I made a wreath. When I asked my family what the thought, Chris immediatly blurted out "tacky", which Bella responded ,"Does tacky mean beautiful?". Yes, in this instance it does. Happy Spring!

SNOW!

It snowed a bunch near LA, so Carolyn and I took the kids to go see it. Less than an hour away and we were in the mountains.

Carolyn tought the kids how to roll a snowball. I had forgotten that step. I thought you just packed the snow together. It has been too long since I made a snowman.

The roads were closed for snow. How fun it is to run in the street!

Today was the first day in a very long time that I was able to weed the front yard. I can't believe just a couple of years ago it looked like this and this.

The boys had so much fun going to the park and swimming in the pool that they needed a little afternoon nap.

I won Toy Story Mania - made Bella cry

Toy Story Mania is a 3D shooter game. Chris and I usually have a friendly competition each time we ride. And this time I won out of the entire car with 156,700. I was so excited, I didn't realize Bella was bummed she only got 36,700 points and burst out in tears. Lesson learned, don't gloat your winnings in front of your kids. But Chris, I still beat you.

It's a Small World no longer scares Bella

She was nervous when it started out, but now she agrees, it is a nice ride.

The Disney Family Pics

The kids were not keen on my idea of having our family portrait taken by every photopass photographer in Disney. I gave up after the third stop since I knew we would be edited out if we had cranky kids in the pictures.

Sad it isn't Saturday yet

Luciano is a bit upset. He thought we were going to Disney tonight. He packed his pink backpack with toys and got his shoes on.

But I am very excited about our family Valentine's weekend at Disney. I am determined to have our family photo projected on It's a Small World. They pick 500 photos from the day in Disney for the nightly projection. So I have planned our Saturday visiting every character and having our photos taken by every park photographers we see.

Backyard Fun

We did it!

Chris was in Brooklyn all week and we managed to eat home every night! No Denny's or Chinese for us. I may even be able to cook for the family more often, that is if Chris lets me.

Bella's Test

Bella took her entrance test to Kindergarten today. She was very excited about her new school. Although I am sure once she realizes she will be wearing a uniform for the next 13 years, she will not be as pleased.
