My first LA sunset

Yeah I've lived here forever and this is the first time we drove to the beach so I could see the sunset.  I always pictured it dipping into the ocean.  But no, there is a mountain in the way.

K1 Concert

Bella's class sang a bunch of religious songs.  She seemed really comfortable belting out the lyrics.  She asked me if she sang loud enough for me to hear her.  Oh, yes, she did sing loud enough.

Then she recited a line from a poem.

San Diego Marathon 2012

At the start line, corral 31, it is crowded with 30,000 runners/walkers

The half marathoners and marathoners split and I find myself ALONE (almost).  After the race I found out there were 22,000 half-marathoners and only 8,000 full marathoners.

The route was HORRIBLE, half of it was on the closed highway.  The pitch of the road resulted in some of the WORST blisters EVER!

The family picked me up after the race since I was not prepared to walk anymore.  I thought I was tired but Sea World kicked these kids butt more.
